Appreciated for her professional integrity, Karen Daubs oversees business development and relationship management within the Financial Services Division at MRI-CR. Her primary areas of specialty are: IBD, RIA, Wealth Management, Practice Management and Financial Planning. Karen’s focus is partnering with clients in identifying, attracting and hiring executive to management level leadership. Her success in the business is a direct result of building deep relationships with the top performers around the country. Karen’s genuine passion for life and people make her an asset to clients and candidates alike.
In 2006, Karen achieved an unprecedented milestone at MRI– Cedar Rapids, a company founded in 1976, by becoming the first “rookie” Account Executive to achieve the illustrious Pacesetter status, distinguishing her as a premier recruiter world-wide in the organization. She remains among the top 5% of all MRI recruiters.
In 2008, Karen was recognized by MRINetwork™ for completing industry certification as a Certified Senior Account Manager (CSAM). This certification distinguishes the combination of experience, the highest of ethical practices in executive search, demonstrated knowledge of applicable laws, industry best practices and search methodology.
Karen joined Management Recruiters of Cedar Rapids following a successful full-time career in television and radio broadcasting and continues to work as a freelance sports broadcaster and analyst. She is highly sought after for her keynote addresses and motivational speeches around the state and region. An avid runner, she has completed both full & half marathons and approaches life with a competitive spirit and an all–out enthusiasm.
