Candidate Optimism- Positive view of the job market is on the rise

We had the opportunity to share a recent Forbes Article with our network- Employee Optimism Is On The Rise: Here’s 4 Tips For Landing Your Dream Job. This article, written by Emily Canal, highlights how employee and candidate perceptions of the job market have changed in recent years.

Generally speaking, candidates perceive their chances of attaining a new position in their field within the next six months, with desirable compensation, as high- (40% for currently unemployed candidates, and 54% for inactive currently employed candidates). The rate of employed workers’ (or inactive candidates) perception that they’d “land on their feet” within 6 months if they were laid off has risen- from 33% in 2013 to 54% in 2016.
